A great few days at the EuroDBS in Freiburg

Tem Hermans

In December, we had the great opportunity to present our work at the EuroDBS conference in Freiburg. The conference was held over two days at the Stadt Freiburg Hotel.

The program opened with an update on the next EuroDBS grant application, followed by presentations about the latest EuroDBS papers and simultaneous DBS-fMRI research. In the late afternoon, we presented our research, which was an exciting moment that went very well. The session continued with talks on targeting strategies in HiFUS and on tractography in DBS.

We ended the first day with a delicious dinner at Paradis, to reflect on the sessions but also to enjoy time together.

The next morning, we presented again and received valuable professional feedback, especially on improving our questionnaire. The conference ended with a talk from Volker, including some funny Harry Potter references.

Overall, it was a inspiring and insightful experience!
